The residual silver halide in unexposed areas is then fogged and developed while concurrently oxidizing the leuco dye in these unexposed areas to form a dye image which is a reversal of the imagewise exposure. Developed silver is then removed from the element to leave a dye image without oxidizing the leuco dye in the imagewise exposed areas of the element.
