Zusammenfassung:In the manufacture of a single ended subminiature incandescent lamp, a helically coiled wire filament is bent into a hairpin shape and is mounted on a temporary support while the mandrel on which the wire has been coiled is still within the filament. The filament is then inserted into acid in order to dissolve the mandrel at the apex portion of the filament. The filament is then sealed within a glass envelope.
