[Also in Division C2C] Insecticidal compositions containing as active ingregient at least one of the compounds 2-methyl-5-sec. butyl phenyl N-methyl carbamate and 2-methyl-5-tert. butyl phenyl N- methyl carbamate stated to be novel together with an inert carrier and if desired further insecticidal agents e.g. chlorinated hydrocarbons, organic phosphorus compounds of pyrethroids, miticides, nematocides, germicides, fertilizers or soil disinfectants are applied to the plant habitat or in the house hold in the form of wettable powders, emulsions, solutions, dusts, aerosols or are painted on or used as bait.
