Zusammenfassung:	Lading restraining bulkheads for a railway boxcar are movable on overhead tracks and floor tracks along both sides of the car. Each bulkhead has a platen supported on a frame by air bellows. The frame and platen have spring pressed detents extending into perforations of the tracks. The detents are beveled on the lading side so that a sufficient force on the platen will cam the detents open and move the platen toward the lading. This action will occur when an impact on the car causes compaction of the lading.
