Zusammenfassung:	A lighting device for a motor vehicle includes numerous light sources and a collimator with numerous collimator lenses. Each collimator lens has an entry surface and an exit surface through which light from the light sources passes successively. Projection optics include a first and second transparent substrates, each with an entry surface and an exit surface. At least one array of cylindrical lenses are on the entry and/or exit surface of the first and second substrates. Light exiting the collimator first passes through the at least one array of cylindrical lenses on the first substrate and then through the at least one array of cylindrical lenses on the second substrate. The projection optics include a first array of cylindrical lenses on the first substrate, the cylinder axes of which extend in a first direction, which is horizontal when the lighting device is installed in a vehicle.
