Zusammenfassung:	A housing and a battery module including a housing. The housing has a frame portion and a base portion. The base portion can include a base that functions as a heat sink to draw heat away from the cell assembly. The frame portion has a first material (e.g., a polymeric material) with a first thermal conductivity and the base has a second material with a second thermal conductivity (e.g., metal) greater than the first thermal conductivity. The base is coupled to the frame portion by an adhesive. In one method of coupling, the frame portion includes a shelf. Formed in the shelf can be a groove, a spillway formed in the shelf, and a channel providing a pathway through the shelf from the groove to the spillway.
