Zusammenfassung:The disclosed system and method is directed to enhancing feasibility of virtual card numbers (VCNs), as secure transaction instruments in online electronic transaction, by incorporating an offline attribute value, which may correspond to an element of the users physical card such as the CVV code, into the validation parameters specified for a VCN. This functionality may be implemented, on the validation end, by modifying a VCN data object to include a reference to the corresponding data element. The proposed system and method provides a more flexible and feasible implementation for conducting VCN transactions without compromising authentication security across network connections.
