| Zusammenfassung: | A flexible abutment for securing to an implant, where the implant is implanted into an osseous structure. Ambient forces impinging on the flexible abutment tend to substantially deform, and be absorbed by, the flexible abutment. As such, ambient forces subsequently transferred from the flexible abutment to the implant, and thence to the osseous structure, are substantially reduced, thereby reducing the chances of osseointegration failure. A method for implanting an implant having a flexible abutment is also provided. |
