Zusammenfassung:Systems and methods of securing a portal are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a portal securing system includes a permanent or semi-permanent component and a transportable component. The permanent or semi-permanent component includes at least one anchor element, with each anchor element being configured to attach to a wall or frame associated with a portal. The transportable component includes a longitudinal element coupled to a coupling mechanism, with the transportable component having at least a certain minimum breaking load. Further, the longitudinal element has first and second ends, with each end having a loop or lariat assembly. The portal securing system is operable to prevent the portal from being opened while the transportable component is securely coupled between the permanent or semi-permanent component and a locking mechanism of the portal.
