METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROJECTION DISPLAY WITH POLARIZATION SELECTIVE REFLECTORS

A method for displaying an image using an eyepiece waveguide includes emitting light from a first laser and emitting light from a second laser. The method also includes receiving light from the first laser at a first polarization selective reflector, reflecting, using the first polarization selective reflector, light from the first laser at a first angle to a scanning mirror, and receiving light from the second laser at a second polarization selective reflector. The method further includes reflecting, using the second polarization selective reflector, light from the second laser at a second angle to the scanning mirror, receiving light reflected by the scanning mirror at an input coupling port of the eyepiece waveguide, and projecting the image from an output port of the eyepiece waveguide.
