Zusammenfassung:A battery case structure includes an outer peripheral frame (6) including a first closed cross section portion (21) which is formed by joining a second steel plate portion (14b) to a first steel plate portion (14a) having a groove-shaped cross-sectional shape in an overlaid state and has a closed cross-sectional shape, and a concave portion (22) which is adjacent to the first closed cross section portion and has a groove-shaped cross section. The battery case structure includes a box portion (3) opening upward and configured to store a battery. The box portion (3) closes the concave portion (22), thereby forming a second closed cross section portion (38) adjacent to the first closed cross section portion (21) and having a closed cross-sectional shape. It is possible to provide a battery case structure that can be formed lightweight at a low manufacturing cost and can also prevent water from entering into the case.
