Zusammenfassung:	Embodiments herein relate to self-cinching devices for fenestration units. In a first aspect, a self-cinching clip device can be included having a base plate. The base plate can include a screw boss. The screw boss can define an oblong fastener aperture and a sloped surface. The sloped surface can be adjacent the oblong fastener aperture. The self-cinching clip device can include a foot member. The foot member can be disposed on a first end of the base plate. The self-cinching clip device can further include a retention lip. The retention lip can be disposed on a second end of the base plate. The sloped surface can have a first side and a second side opposite the first side along an axis interconnecting the foot member and the retention lip. The first side of the sloped surface can have a larger diameter than the second side.
