The system can include a first placing device to place a first electrode layer on the carrier. The system can include a first alignment device to obtain first positional information associated with the first electrode layer. The system can include a second placing device to place a second electrode layer on the first electrode layer based on the first positional information to form the electrode layer stack. The electrode layer stack can include a separator layer between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer.
