Zusammenfassung:	A method for testing a sensor system of a motor vehicle, the sensor system including a surroundings sensor which is configured to acquire surroundings of the motor vehicle. The method includes: receiving reference object signals which represent a reference object detected with the aid of a motor vehicle-external surroundings sensor in the surroundings of the motor vehicle, receiving object signals which represent an object detected with the aid of the surroundings sensor in the surroundings of the motor vehicle, and comparing the object to the reference object to test the sensor system. A device, a computer program, and a machine-readable storage medium, are also described.
