Zusammenfassung: | A system for monitoring presence of a ground-engaging tool relative to a machine, on a worksite, is disclosed. The system includes a sensor operatively coupled to the ground-engaging tool, a signal receiver, and a controller. The sensor is configured to transmit an identifying wireless signal. The controller is configured to receive a received signal from the signal receiver; the received signal based on the identifying wireless signal and having a signal power. The controller is configured to determine a signal attenuation power of the received signal, based on the signal power relative to the transmission power, determine a relative location of the ground-engaging tool and one or more fault conditions based on the signal attenuation power, and determine if the ground-engaging tool is connected to the machine based on the relative location of the ground-engaging tool and the existence of one or more fault conditions. |
