Zusammenfassung:A method, executed by a computer, for managing financial instruments includes receiving a financial instrument value and financial instrument details for a financial instrument, wherein the financial instrument's value and the financial instrument details are extracted from an image of the financial instrument using image processing tools, and sequestering a monetary amount in a monetary account corresponding to the financial instrument details, wherein the monetary amount is equal to an exchangeable value of the financial instrument. A computer program product and computer system corresponding to the above method are also disclosed herein.
