Zusammenfassung:	An anti-coagulant maintenance system for use in the treatment of patients with deep-vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), Acute Coronary Syndrome, need for prophylactic anticoagulation or another related condition. The system establishes and adjusts the dosing of an anti-coagulant based upon periodic blood testing of a system specified frequency. Warning or alert messages or signals are produced if blood tests are not performed and a dosage adjustment is made based upon a coagulation test result outside of an established normal range. It is particularly useful for patients in a hospital or in-patient environment.
