Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides a new method of separating epothilones from one another that can be used on an industrial scale for the selective enrichment of epothilone and to provide a crystalline solid of enhanced purity, which can be used for the production of pharmaceutical preparations without using normal or reverse-phase chromatography or any energy input via distillation apparatus, wherein the new method comprises the steps: a. dissolving a crude containing epothilones in an alkyl ester, b. cooling the solution form a slurry, c. isolating a crystalline solid from the slurry.
