Zusammenfassung:A medical navigation system, comprising at least one laser scanner, at least one marker and a processing unit, wherein a laser scanner comprises a laser for generating a laser beam and a laser positioning unit for varying the direction of the laser beam in at least one dimension, wherein a marker comprises a detector for the laser beam and is configured to send an information signal to the processing unit when the laser beam hits the detector, and wherein the processing unit is configured to calculate the location of a marker from the information signal sent by the marker.
