Zusammenfassung:A method and apparatus for managing a project are described. According to one embodiment, the method includes the steps of ranking the plurality of tasks to produce a first list; assigning a task cost to each of the plurality of tasks; setting a planned velocity, the planned velocity determining the rate at which task costs are planned to be completed per time segment; and dynamically assigning each of the plurality of tasks to one of the sequence of time segments in the order indicated by the first list based on the planned velocity. In other embodiments, the apparatus includes a machine-readable medium that provides instructions for a processor, which when executed by the processor cause the processor to perform a method of the present invention.
