Zusammenfassung:	A method and system for grouping images generated from a Tomosynthesis process is disclosed herein. The Method of grouping series of images obtained from a tomosynthesis process comprises generating an identifier during each imaging stage and writing the identifier to the DICOM header of the images generated during each imaging stage. The images having the same series unique identifier is displayed using a same series number. The imaging stages include pre-shot, acquisition, reconstruction and retro-reconstruction. A tomosynthesis system using the method of grouping is also disclosed.
