The process included in the present invention ensures full end-capping. Furthermore, the present invention makes use of diisocyanates to chain-extend polyether polyols to a desired length. This allows the process of the present invention to accommodate a wide range of polyether polyols in the synthesis of the compounds of the invention. Additionally, the process of the present invention reduces the level of unreacted isocyanate to an acceptable level of approximately 0.1 wt %.
