Zusammenfassung:An information processing apparatus is configured to be connected to a network system in which line connection is established using point-to-point protocol, and charge is based on a period from establishment to release of the line connection. The information processing apparatus includes an input monitoring unit that monitors line-release operation input and completion of packet transmission/reception, and a communication control unit that releases the line connection when at least one of the line-release operation input and completion of packet transmission/reception is detected.
