The material to be centrifuged is guided through an axially extending inflow tube (13) into the distributor (15). At least one wall (15a) of the distributor is provided with a surface structure consisting of projections (27) in such a way that the main part of the material to be centrifuged (S) which passes through the distributor must flow around at least one of the projections (27) on the at least one wall (15a) on the radial path from the inflow tube (13) to the centrifuging chamber (19).
