Zusammenfassung:	Examples of the disclosure include a battery system comprising an output configured to provide output power to a load, one or more battery cells configured to store electrical energy to provide to the load, and a battery management system configured to receive one or more operational parameters of the battery system, determine whether the one or more operational parameters are less than at least one operational-parameter threshold, modify a discharge threshold of the one or more battery cells responsive to determining that the one or more operational parameters are less than the at least one operational-parameter threshold, and control the battery system to be in a battery-optimization mode responsive to determining that a discharge level of the one or more battery cells is below the discharge threshold.
