The display element includes a pixel electrode, an intermediate layer, and an opposite electrode. An embedded driving circuit portion is disposed on the peripheral area. The embedded driving circuit portion includes a second thin film transistor. A common voltage supply line is disposed on the peripheral area. The common voltage supply line is positioned closer to the display area than the embedded driving circuit portion. The common voltage supply line is electrically connected to the opposite electrode. |
