Zusammenfassung:	A household appliance includes a camera with a housing and a first electrical plug connector in the housing. A reinforcement part separate from the camera is configured for direct connection to the housing through a cutout in a wall of the appliance such that the housing and the reinforcement part are disposed on opposite sides of the wall. The reinforcement part has a second electrical plug connector for connection to the first electrical plug connector. The second plug connector is a separate component provided on the reinforcement part by a snap-fit connection and/or in the mounted state the first electrical plug connector is snap-fitted to the second electrical plug connector by a snap-fit connection and/or the housing of the camera is connected in the mounted final state to the reinforcement part by a screw connection. A mounting method for the camera is also provided.
