The driver is configured to drive the backlight, the first liquid crystal panel, and the second liquid crystal panel. The second liquid crystal panel is lower in resolution than the first liquid crystal panel. The driver drives the first liquid crystal panel and the second liquid crystal panel at different refresh rates.
