The method can include dissolving zinc nitrate hexahydrate (Zn(NO3)2.6H2O) in an extract of Kalanchoe blossfeldiana to provide a zinc nitrate extract solution, stirring the zinc nitrate extract solution, and adding an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to the zinc nitrate extract solution to form zinc oxide nanoparticles. |
