Zusammenfassung:	A vehicle headlight control device is provided with: a pedestrian detection unit which detects a pedestrian; and a headlight control unit which controls an irradiation state of a headlight. When the pedestrian detection unit detects a pedestrian within an irradiation range of the headlight, the headlight control unit executes dimming control for controlling the irradiation state of the headlight so that a periphery of the pedestrian is dimmed. The pedestrian is irradiated with a part of a high beam or a low beam, or marking light emitted from a dedicated light source. A dimming region is formed around the pedestrian by the dimming control, and contrast in brightness between the pedestrian and his/her surroundings can be raised.
