Zusammenfassung:	A method for the treatment of the raw material based on sodium iodide for growing monocrystals comprises loading the ampoule with the initial salt of sodium iodide, the degassing of the ampoule with its heating, the intake of the dry area, the curing, the second intake of the dry area, the curing, the second degassing. The salt is heated up to 420-450 DEGREE C. The invention allows for reducing the amount of the organic admixtures to 1?10-3 wt. %.
