DEVICE FOR GEOPHYSICAL EXPLORATION

The proposed device for geophysical exploration contains a transmitter for transmitting electromagnetic sounding oscillations, a transmitter for transmitting acoustic sounding oscillations, and a receiver for receiving reflected electromagnetic oscillations detected by oscillation transducers and processing the output signals of the transducers. The proposed device provides a possibility to sound the explored environment with electromagnetic and acoustic oscillations or only with electromagnetic oscillations. For the purpose to enhance the noise immunity and measurement accuracy, the receiver provides the conversion of the output signals of the oscillation transducers into low-intermediate-frequency signals, filtration and amplification of the said signals, isolation of the useful signal, and determining the amplitude and phase of the useful signal. The proposed device is distinctive by its enhanced reliability and accuracy.
