UNIT FOR VORTEX MILLING OF FEMALE THREAD

A unit for vortex milling of female thread, which ensures female thread cutting by vortex milling directly on the large-dimension components without dismantling, contains a vortex head, an electric motor, a support and additionally a device, which consists of two stationary plates, an engine with pinion engaged with gear, a moving plate, two pinions, a spindle. Lower stationary platen is installed on the surface of component, in which is cut the thread, and it is fastened by means of auxiliary devices. Lower stationary platen is connected with upper platen by two rigidly fixed shafts and two running shafts. The engine with pinion engaged with the gear is located on the fixed upper platen. The moving platen is located between upper and lower stationary platens with possibility of vertical displacement in parallel to lower plate. Two pinions are mounted on the running shafts and are connected to them by means of keys. The spindle is fixed by lower end in the moving platen, and its upper end passes through the opening of the gear and is connected to it by means of the key, which can move together with the spindle over the sides of groove of the key of the gear.
