description | The invention relates to the metallurgy. A device for cooling the lengthy rolled products contains inlet and outlet pipes installed with possibility of displacement along longitudinal axis of device in cylindrical housings interconnected with the connection with the internal cones located on longitudinal axis, said cones are located oppositely to each other, and supply branch pipe. In accordance with the invention, inlet and outlet pipes are additionally equipped with bushings with cone-shaped exterior, which forms annular nozzles with internal cones of connection. In this case, in the middle of connection is located a separating bushing with inside diameter, which is equal to 0.35-0.6 of internal diameters of connection, along both sides from which in the connection are executed the bleed holes, and supply branch pipe is interconnected with cylindrical housing from the side of intake pipe. Furthermore, the ratio of the angle of slope of the generatrix of cone-shaped exterior of the bushing to the longitudinal axis of device to the angle of slope of the generatrix of internal cone of the connection to the longitudinal axis of device is equal to 0.6-0.85. Invention provides for continuous work of device with stable position of front end of roller product during cooling process by countercurrent coolant flow and uniform cooling of rolled product throughout its entire length. |
