Zusammenfassung:	The proposed method for determining mechanical properties of steel consists in determining the chemical composition of the steel sample, measuring, in the process of thermal treatment of workpieces, the temperature of the steel sample, the temperature at which austenite formation finishes, and the temperature at which austenite decomposes when cooling the steel sample, and determining the content of secondary phase elements in the austenite in heating the steel sample and in the ferrite after the decomposition of the austenite. In order to determine the parameters that characterize the properties of the steel sample, a regression equation is used. The present invention provides a possibility to enhance the accuracy and performance of the analysis for determining mechanical properties of steel.
