Device for longitudinal separation of strips contains a reduction mill including a bed with a fender bar and horizontal working rolls located in it, which form a calibre, and a cassette mounted on the fender bar of the rolling mill from its exit side for longitudinal separation of strips, which includes a hollow housing consisting of upper and lower parts, horizontal dividing rolls, located in it on bearing supports, with crests in the middle of their sides and means for supply of coolant to the crests of rolls, which are made in the form of channels in the housing of cassette, which by their outlets are directed toward the crests of rolls, in the lower part of the housing of cassette the channels for removal of coolant are made, which by outlets are directed toward the calibre of the rolls of a reduction mill, moreover the total cross-sectional areas of channels for supply of coolant to the crests of the rolls of cassette and channels for supply of coolant to the crests of the rolls of cassette and channels for supply of coolant to the calibre of the rolls of a reduction mill are correlated as 1: 0.75 - 0.95. Invention ensures increase in the durability of the calibre crests of the rolls of a reduction mill, which accomplishes preparation of a strip for longitudinal separation, reduction of the loads on the units of dividing device, including effort of the extrusion of the strip through it, that ensures high durability of the strip of longitudinal separation in the space "working rolls - dividing device", and also reduction of consumption of rolls and increase of output of the mill. |
