METHOD FOR THE SURGICAL TREATMENT OF RECURRENT INGUINAL HERNIA

A method for surgical treatment of the recurrent inguinal hernia comprises the typical approach to the inguinal canal, the mobilization of the inguinal canal walls, the taking aside of the spermatic cord on the holder, the hernial sac separation and ablation, the inguinal canal posterior wall plasty with the meshy implant placing, and the attachment of the last to the internal oblique abdominal muscle. The meshy implant as a "flounce" is placed into the hernial sac tunics, and its hilus is sutured and ligated for the elimination of contact withspermatic cord. Then the peritoneum is sutured and attached together with meshy implantat to the abdominal internal oblique muscle and abdominal transverse muscle by interrupted stitches with monofilament suture.
