Zusammenfassung:	A guard rail for use in the structures of escalators and travellators (passenger conveyors) contains C-shaped element made of elastic material, for example, rubber longitudinally reinforced by steel cables with the bars threaded with set pitch step and pressed on them, between which rubber plates fixed to the ropes are placed, and formed by method of vulcanization. To each bar U-shaped profile with bent back outside horizontal shelves is adapted by wall and rigidly fastened. In the bars and plates near the ends from the side of bearing surface of rails the lugs are formed, which tightly covers C-shaped element.
