Zusammenfassung:	The proposed method for determining the content of cations in the saliva and gastric juices of the patient consists in treating the sample of the saliva or gastric juices at a centrifuge, filtering the sample, mixing the filtrate with buffer solution, and isolating cations by electrophoresis under high positive voltage. The detected cations are recorded as peaks on the electrophoregram. The content of cations in the sample is determined by the area of the said peaks, using the calibration characteristic of the electrophoresis device.
