Zusammenfassung:	A method for conducting the blast furnace melting involves loading the iron ore part of the charge, coke and carbonate-containing material as flux, delivery of hot combined blowing, discharge of cast iron and slag. As carbonate-containing material it is used the dolomitized limestone and the limestone with fractions size between 5 and 25 mm and consumption thereof per cast iron ton is determined from the basicity of blast furnace slag (CaO+MgO)/SiO2, maintained in the range between 1.15-1.45, and content of MgO in the slag between 6 and 10 %.
