UNIT FOR MECHANIZED HARVESTING OF WILD CAMOMILE INFLORESCENCES

The invention relates to the field of agricultural machine-building and can be used while designing units for collecting wild chamomile inflorescences. A unit comprises a comb with teeth, mounted on a frame, an immovable knife with a blade and a beater, on which shearing plates, rotating together with the beater, are mounted. From above onto the comb a knife, the blade of which overlaps the teeth of the comb in the area of forming thereof, is mounted. Above the blade of the knife the beater with the shearing plates, the axle of rotation of which is projected forward as regards to the blade of the knife, is arranged. Behind the comb and the knife an accumulating container is mounted. Above the beater an upper cover is mounted and immovably fixed on the frame, on the opposite longitudinal ends, a front cover and that rear are hingedly fixed to said upper cover. The front cover is made along the radius as regards to the rotational axis of the beater and covers the beater in front with a gap to the surface of the comb, and longitudinal lower end thereof has a rounding upwards, in the direction to the axle of the beater. The rear cover overlaps the space above the accumulating container and rear wall thereof. The teeth of the comb are projected forward as regards to the front surface of the front cover. The overlapping area of the teeth of the comb by the blade of the knife is 2-3 cm. The rotational axle of the beater is projected forward as regards to the blade of the knife at a distance of 3-5 cm. The gap between the front cover and the surface of the teeth of the comb is 5-7 cm. The teeth of the comb are projected forward as regards to the front radius surface of the front cover for a distance of 5-10 cm.
