Upon receipt of a stop signal which is outputted from an emergency stop switch 7 prior to the end of the countdown, the countdown is stopped. When the countdown ends, a fire extinguishing gas is discharged from a jet head 3. The fire alarm receiver 10 receives the stop signal outputted from the emergency stop switch 7 with higher priority than the sensor signal outputted from the fire sensor 2.
