A tool container (1) for holding tools has a cuboidal container body (2), comprising a lid wall (5), a base wall (6), a front wall (7), a rear wall (8) and two side walls (9, 10), a cover (11) being provided, which is divided into surface portions (13-18) by hinges (12). The surface portions (14-18) can be folded at the hinges (12) and form at least regions of the lid wall (5), the base wall (6), the front wall (7) and the rear wall (8).
