description Concepts and examples pertaining to short physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) in New Radio (NR) networks are described. In configuring the short PUCCH, the processor selects a sequence from a plurality of different sequences each of which representative of a respective uplink control information (UCI). The selected sequence is transmitted by the processor in the short PUCCH to a node of a wireless communication network.
