Novel compound, herbicidal composition comprising it and method for the control of weeds by using it

The invention relates to compounds of formula (I): wherein R1, R2, R3, X, n and z are as defined in the description, and to their use as herbicides. A novel compound of formula (I) wherein: R2 represents: halogen; a straight- or branched- chain alkyl group containing up to three carbon atoms optionally substituted by one or more halogen atoms; benzyl; or -S(O)pR10; n represents zero or an integer from one to three; where n is greater than one the groups R2 may be the same or different; p represents zero, one or two; X represents -(CH2)v-; v represents zero or one; R3 represents 1,2,4-triazol-1-yl; Q represents hydroxy, or -S-phenyl; R6 and R7 represent hydrogen or methyl; R10 represents a lower alkyl group; or an agriculturally acceptable salt or metal complex thereof.
