The spherical strontium titanate microparticle powder is characterized in that the average primary particle size of the primary particles is under 50 nm, and the ratio of the average primary particle size to the BET-converted particle size derived from the relational formula: 6000/(BET*5.13) is within the range of 0.85 to 1.25.
