Zusammenfassung:	In a sliding door 1 having a sliding door panel 30, a driving mechanism 50 to slide the sliding door panel in a door width direction, a reception portion 35 to be connected with a control portion 55 to control the driving mechanism, a detection portion 16 to detect an object to be detected, the detection portion being provided at a handle position of the sliding door panel, and a transmission portion 19 to wirelessly transmit detection signal of the detection portion to the reception portion, the detection portion has a first sensor 17, and a second sensor 18 to output the detection signal, the second sensor having a detection area smaller than that of the first sensor, and the second sensor is operated under the condition that the first sensor detects the object to be detected.
