Zusammenfassung:	An objective of this invention is to prevent leakage of radiation from a rotating gantry by providing a shielding body for reducing leakage of radiation (secondary radiation) having high permeability such as neutron or gamma ray in the rotating gantry. A rotating gantry (10) of this invention includes a shielding body (12) for reducing leaking dose of secondary radiation generated by collision of a charged particle beam (31) against an irradiating object (13), which is provided at a side opposite to a particle ray irradiation apparatus (58) with respect to the irradiating object (13).
