Zusammenfassung:	An over temperature protecting circuit adopted to a light source driver coupling a light emitting device is provided. The light source driver has a current setting terminal receiving a setting current to controls the magnitude of a current flowing through the light emitting device accordingly. The over temperature protecting circuit includes a first resistance, a second resistance, a third resistance, a thermal resistance and a diode. A first terminal of the first resistance couples the current setting terminal to provide the setting current. The second resistance couples between a second terminal of the first resistance and a ground voltage. A first terminal of the thermal resistance couples a reference voltage. The third resistance couples between a second terminal of the thermal resistance and the ground voltage. An anode and a cathode of the diode are coupling the second terminals of the thermal resistance and the first resistance respectively.
