Zusammenfassung:	In a heat-exchanging device which is chiefly used to heat railway points, vehicle cabins and railway carriages on electrified railways, the condensation chamber (5) is arranged essentially horizontally along a heated object (11). Provided in the device are at least two connecting pieces - a steam connecting piece (9) and a liquid connecting piece (10) - which are intended to connect the hollow space (6) of the condensation chamber (5) and the hollow space (8) of a tube (7) to the hollow space of the evaporation chamber (1).
